I have been and am currently involved in several investments with Kathcon Development (and Greg Miller) that have been proven again and again to be solid projects with returns greater than promised or anticipated. Kathcon works tirelessly to insure a fine product that outshines similar priced competitors' homes. As an example; we were co-owners of a speculative home in Antioch, Illinois with Kathcon and because that home did not sell immediately, Kathcon volunteered to rent the home, then used it as a model. In doing so Kathcon not only covered our holding costs, but reduced them because of the model home provision in the property tax law.

First national Bank of Illinois has recently used the services of Kathcon Real Estate Services, Inc., in selling a custom home in Lincolnshire, Illinois that was incomplete after the (defunct) builder declared bankruptcy and walked away from the property. We unfortunately needed to sell this property as an unfinished home with the hopes of finding a buyer that saw it's potential and wanted to complete the home to their specifications. This was a low 7 figure deal which FNBI offered part of the financing.
We signed a listing contract with Kathcon who also had a home listed next door to our property in the hopes that they could be competitive and could show both homes to prospective buyers. They immediately listed (and marketed) the home in the local MLS area as well as the southern Wisconsin market and within two or three weeks (Kathcon) provided us with a perfect match from a couple who were moving from the Minneapolis to the greater Chicago area. We encountered numerous negotiation concerns, and Kathcon walked through all of them with both the buyer and our bank. We were very satisfied with their services and would recommend them to others.
